We had a wonderful, not white, Christmas. Although, I understand not many people had snow. I guess I really shouldn't be complaining it will be here sometime its just nice to have a white Christmas. I did have to work Friday overnight so Ssturday was a sleepy day. I took a long nap before we went to church at 430. We had dinner when we got home from church, which was my tradition- Beer Cheese Soup and Evan's tradition- Lasagna and the girls' mac and cheese. And Mom Lindahl sent a triple choc. cheesecake, New Yorks finest. It is truly amazing, we have barely put a dent in it. It's very rich but sooo yummy, good thing my parents are coming to help us eat it. We then opened presents and wrote Santa a letter with some cookies and carrots for the reindeer and sprinkled reindeer food on the lawn and went to bed. It was a late night for me especially since I worked the night before. The house was a disaster and I had a lot of cleaning to do before I went to bed. The next morning the girls woke at 730 to see what Santa brought them. I think they both kind of forgot until I mentioned presents from Santa then they went running. They thouroughly enjoyed their Santa gifts. Ella got a walking puppy- the closest thing she's getting to a real puppy for now and Eva got a tent with a tunnel and of course little stuff to go along with it. We have had some nice, relaxing days playing with all their new toys. Christmas day we got invited to one of my clients house for drinks and had a wonderful time with them. We stayed out way too late on Sunday so we all played catch up yesterday. I worked last night so that didn't help either! So now going backwards to the days leading up to Christmas. On Monday we went to Firefly Cafe, an indoor play area and the girls had a great time. We went by ourselves, but the girls were in need of some running around playtime which allowed me to sit on their couch and read magazines. It was awesome! Tuesday Eva and I went to the moms club xmas party while Evan went to school with Ella to help her make a gingerbread house. She was so excited when she got home but most of all because she wanted to eat it! And that she did, almost the entire thing! We went to the library for storytime and got groceries and the last few gift items for Christmas. We had a wonderful week and am looking forward to this next week with my parents. They come in tomorrow night at 12am!

Its Christmas!
Well we had a busy week last week, full of Christmas events. We made decorated cookies with friends on Thursday and went to Easton one night to see Santa and view the festivities. We also went downtown for some Christmas celebrations, again we saw Santa and had some hot choc. while we rode a train and a carasale. It was a bit chilly out but we were fully prepared with 2 layers of clothes on. We were there for 2 hrs while we waited for the fireworks. The girls had a great time! We also went to the library for storytime last week and made lots of baked goods ourselves. We were also thankful for a little bit of snow on Saturday which Ella thouroughly enjoyed. It certainly didn't last long. The girls are super excited for Christmas this year and can't wait to see what Santa brings them. I'm definitly sick of playing pretend Christmas so I can't wait for it to be here either. :o)Merry Christmas to everyone and safe travels.

Christmas
Oh I love the holiday season, there is always so much going on and now with kids we have reasons to join in the fun. On Saturday we went to a museum to tour the Christmas show. The girls couldn't touch anything which was NO fun but they behaved pretty well. They did enjoy seeing everything, which included: 60 Christmas trees, lots of Christmas decorations (Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse) train set, Santa, music, carriage rides, and free donuts (Ella's favorite) and apple cider. We had fun! On Sunday we went to the zoo with a church group for Zoo lights which we have always wanted to go but since the girls were little and its usually pretty chilly out in the evenings we have passed. Well it was spectacular, especially the light show but there was NO animals to see which was a bummer for the girls. Eva and Ella were pretty chilly but did alright. During the week we went to Storytime and had some playdates, nothing to crazy. I have yet to hear from the hospital about a Mother/Infant job, they said they would be calling mid-Decemeber. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Hope everyone is staying warm and getting all their shopping done.
