Happy New Year
Baby Tyler and Ella on Sunday morning after they gave each other hugs/kisses.
The last night before we left (Saturday night). We met them in Fargo because they had been stranded since Wednesday.
A turkey outside of the Vondals house.
The girls again watching Dora.
Ella at Uncle Grants ball game. Go Bearcats!
Ella, Eva, and Savy wathcin Dora I suppose.
The drift in front of the Vondal house.
We went bowling one night and Ella loved it. It was her first time and she did great, with bumpers of course and the help of Auntie Alana and Uncle Jon.
Evan and Jon shoveling off the roof.
Ella crawling through a tunnel CJ and Savy made.
Winter wonderland.
Ella and her new fake puppy.
Ella and Eva had matching pj's which had their names on them. They were so cute!
Eva on Christmas morning.
Ella writing Santa a letter!
Baby Tyler got underwear for Christmas and took his pants off right away and put them on. If only it were that easy. Good luck Nellie! He was so super cute though, he loved them!
Eva, daddy, and Grandpa Christmas Eve night.
Tyler and Ella locked in Gage's (Uncle Brett's dog) kennel. (Another highlight for Ella.)
Eva's favorite gift from Uncle Brett and Aunt Ashley. It's a Dora doll.
Great Grandma Vondal and Great Grandma Charb. We were happy to have both of them on Chrismas Eve. Eva liked them!
Ella and daddy on Christmas Eve.
Grandpa Jim and Eva. Eva was such a good sport about new people, she has only seen my dad 1 other time and went to him without fussing. I was so proud of her. I think it helps to be so involved in the moms club/library activities.
Baby Tyler and Ella playing with the treadmill.
Me and the girls Christmas Eve.
Ella and her cousin Savy, She loved her and followed her around everywhere.
Auntie Alana and Eva probably watching Dora.
The girls got some early Christmas presents, the one being a book for Ella and Eva recorded from G&G. It is perfect, every night we can now hear G&G voice before bed.
Ella howling like a timberwolf. On the way home we stopped in Minneapolis for a day and went out with some old college friends and went to a T-wolves game. The girls, unfortunately didn't last the entire game. Alana and I brought them home early which left the boys having fun.
We had a great time at home which ended up being 2 days longer because of the blizzard conditions in ND. It was nice to stay those extra days but it was awful driving home in 2 long days. We were hoping to take it slowly on the way home stopping frequently to see new things and visit some friends. Well maybe next time! We stayed at the Lindahls for the first 5 days and than at my parents house for the remainder of the time. It couldn't have worked out better! The girls slept well, probably not enough but they slept all night every night so I was thankful for that. I think the highlight for me was going out with some old high school friends, I had so much fun. It was great to see them and catch up. The highlight for Ella was baby Tyler and her cousin CJ & Savy. She also LOVED Auntie Hopie because she was goofy with her. Ella loved to tease her, she would tell her NO tisses for auntie Hopie but would ask for her when she wasnt around. The highlight for Eva I think was all the attention especially from her grandmas and grandpas. They love her sooooo much. Evan's favorite part of the trip was probably shoveling, haha! I shoveled more than he's ever shoveled. The closer we got to Ohio the happier we were to see grass and NO snow, although with us wanted to move closer to home we are going to have to sacrafice the cold weather and the snow. That's alright I guess as long as we have family/friends close by. So again Evan's highlight was seriously the T-wolves game or Grants BB game. We were fortunate enought to seen his little brother Grant play a high school game. He is a senior this year and they have a very good team, they are hoping to make it to state. I didn't get a lot of pictures with my family, my camera was never out but I grabbed moms everytime I saw a kodak moment. :o) So overall we had a wonderful time with family/friends and hope to have next Christmas here in Ohio in our new house(without snow/blizzards).
Please pray for Grandma Mary as she will be having heart surgery on Jan. 10th. Evan will be traveling home via plane or car, unsure yet what is happening. We love you grandma and will be thinking and praying for you.
