Eva did her own hair and when she looked in the mirror, she giggled. :o)
We had a good week, exciting to start school. Ella was comfortable with the start of school because she has the same teacher as last year because she is in preschool again, only because she's only 4. She rode the bus to and from school but like I mentioned earlier she will only be riding it to school, which will hopefully give Eva and I time to bond a little and Eva time to nap before leaving to pick Ella up from school. The weekend was busy, Saturday Ella and Evan went to the Buckeye football game, Ella liked it but they did leave early. They then went to take a tour of the Santa Maria, a ship downtown Columbus and then went mini golfing. Eva and I too a long nap (much needed after a night of work) and then went to a birthday party. So we also had fun! Sunday we went downtown for duck races. It was our childrens hospital fundraiser. We did not win unfortunately, 1st prize got a BMW for a yr. and 2nd prize got free groceries for a year. We had fun though! There were bounce houses and face painting (the girls got their arm painted- a unicorn)! We then went to a few stores looking for a lounge chair for our sitting room. With football on now Evan needs somewhere to relax and watch it because us girls do not want too. ;o) In the evening I went to a friends' labor day party for a few hours and when I got home the girls and daddy were sitting by the fire. It was a late night so Monday was a relaxing day. Last night was my first of 9 nights in a row. Thank God for Autie Becky and Uncle David who arrive today to help. We love them so much! Not sure if I would have survived without them. |
