Busy Chicks

We went to the park over the weekend to play and look for wildlife on the trails. Ella found a spider and a worm, nothing too exciting.

Playing football with daddy at the park.

I took this picture because Eva is crossing her legs, she likes to sit like this lately.

We were at Easton shopping this weekend and ran into a giant brownie and cookie. Ella loved them, and it likes like Evan does too. :o)

Ella's picture taking, she did a great job

Ella is a huge help these days, so she loves to help do the dishes, which is a huge help for me.

Well we had a wonderful week and defnitely kept busy. Monday we went to Easton which is a shopping mall outdoors. They have fountains there and on Monday they had zoo animals there for the kids. We saw foxes, and a turtle, and a crocodile, and some kind of kangaroo. Ella liked the animals but wouldn't run through the fountains unless I did it and I didn't so she just got a little wet instead of soaked. On Tuesday we went to the library for storytime, it was the last one until Sept. Ella really enjoys them now and Eva acutally seemed to like it also. On Friday we had a playdate with some new friends, they are boys and are close to Ella's and Eva's age. They had fun together although you can really tell the difference in how little boys and girls play. Ella does NOT like their roughness, but it was pretty cute he had a little motorized car he was driving and told Ella to hop it. He was such a gentlemen and shut the door behind her. It was cute, although I didn't bring my camera so I will have to get the picture from their mom. On the not busy days I was searching for jobs. I am happy to report I finally got the perfect job well one that works wonderfully with our family life. I am now working Friday and Saturday nights rotating Sat. and Sunday days. It is for a wonderful family 25 miles north of us, they live in a gated community with a beautiful house so I am happy with that. Evan is still in search. Evan is leaving us this weekend for 6 days to go on an east coast road trip with his aunt Becky and Uncle David. He is looking forward to it, although I am not. I don't like thinking about being the only adult in the house at nights, kind of scares me. So wish me luck!
