Pittsburgh Trip

*****UPDATED*****

The Lindahl family at the 2nd Reds game...it was a hot one!
Ella playing baseball on Thursday before the weekend! T-ball is starting soon for her so we need to start practicing.
I was at work so who knows what she was doing? :o) Silly girl!
Ice cream...yummy treat on a hot day!
 Eva's on 1st...I'm on 2nd..and Ella was on 3rd!
                                                              The girls in the dug-out!
Eva over-tired in the car...she gets a little goofy!
Us at Church-Brew Works!  A church that was turned into a brewery!
It was very cool but felt so not right! The angels in the church were holding beers!
                                                                The brewery tanks!
Eva cheesin..the girls were tired of sitting bc we went straight there after our 3-hr. drive there.
Daddy was extremely happy....he loves his beer!

Us in the front of the brewery!
                                                            The outside of the Brewery!
The girls checkin out the view from a hotel window!
                                                      The girls swimming....they loved it!
                                                                 We were site-seeing!
Evan was a runner of Steel!
Little Eva in front of the beautiful downtown!
Ready for the 2nd day of swimming!
                                                                    Just floatin along!
Ella went to get lunch with daddy while Eva and stayed back for a nap at the hotel. They went to a Pittsburgh favorite...Primanti Brothers..they specialize in big sandwhiches that come with coleslaw and french fries on the sandwhich. Wasn't my favorite but now we can say we tried it2
The Reds were staying at our hotel and we just happen to catch Joey Votto (Evan's fav. player) leaving the hotel to go to the stadium for the game.
Evan didn't get a pic of him signing Eva's hat..but he did! We were all pumped!
                                                                        Taxi Ride
We went up the mountain in a cable car...pretty cool and great views!

A panaramic view of the city from the top! From east to west!
                                                                        North
                                                                      West
Ella was tired so was taking a break by herself!
Go Reds...from the top of the mountain!

Ella holding the signed hat! :o)
daddy and Ella on the way down!
The girls riding a little train!
Mommy and Eva at the game...we went early for batting practice so we could get a ball....SUCCESS, the Reds pitcher Chapman threw us a ball! :o)
The hill you have to go through to get to Pittsburgh! It's so beautiful...once you drive through the tunnel you go on the bridge and you see Pittsburgh's skyline.
The girls' enjoying our boat ride to the game!
Fountain time..it went to music and was lots of fun for the girls...they didn't even get that wet...impressive!
One of the girls' favorite parts of the game!
                                                           The girls enjoying the game!

Another favorite part of the game for the girls' and the reason we stayed the entire game...but it was worth it. They were wonderful!
We made signs for daddy but unfortunately he didnt see us...we saw him though!
He was happy to see the posters when we met up with him after the marathon.
Our hotel lobby...this is hotel number 2 where the Reds were staying. We stayed at another one the night before bc we weren't planning on going to nights. But Ella said she liked this one better because is was prettier but she did like the pool in the other one.
Us on the bridge on the way over to the game...they close this bridge during baseball games.
The girls with a giant Perogie...another Pittsburgh staple! We did not have any  other those though.
Our view from way up high....it was hot the last day so we stayed under the shade!
We had a wonderful weekend in the city of Pittsburgh. We left Friday afternoon and spent the the evening eating and swimming. The next day was spent touring the city..mostly by foot. We took a taxi once and we held the girls alot, my muscles are feeling it today! Which is why I can't understand how Evan ran the marathon...we were busy all day Saturday walking around with 2 little ones in our hands and then he did an awesome job the next day at the 1/2 marathon. His time was 2:03, his best time ever! Especially thrilled b/c his training was limited and there was lots of hills but it didn't stop him. We were so proud of him! Then after the race we went to another Reds game...didn't stay as long bc it was hot, the girls were tired, and we still had to drive home! Ella and Eva's favorite part of the weekend was the pool and fireworks! They had lots of fun but were so happy to get home and play with their toys.
