Wonderful Week

Ella's enjoying the fish!

Grandma was spinning me around in the highchair.

Daddy thought it would be cute to give her a sip, well she didn't get any but it sure looks cute.

Happy St. Patricks Day

Ella's first time in a booster seat. She didn't care where she was at she was eating ice cream at the DQ.

Ella was scared but grandpa thought it was cute and funny.
Our visitors left on Sunday morning and I miss them lots already. We had a wonderful time, grandma and grandpa got to experience some of her firsts- we went to the park and went swinging and down the slide and we also went to the zoo. She really enjoyed that, she liked the fish the best. Otherwise, we just hung out at our house. Didn't do too much shopping because dad was with but that's ok I can shop anytime. Grandma and Grandpa really enjoyed Ella's expressions and her finger pointing. She talks with her fingers and her face. It's so cute! The sad thing is that I am not sure when I will see them again. :o( Well the week ahead of us is real busy so that should keep me occupied. Well I hope all is doing well and my thoughts and prayers are with those near the Red River, hope the water doesn't rise to high.

Visitors

So precious!

She a walkin all by herself! What a big girl.

My little Angel. She loves sleeping with her butt up.

We are so excited to have family here! Grandma and Grandpa Vondal arrived on Sunday evening. We hope the week doesn't go by too fast! The weather is so nice here so there definitely enjoying that (50-60 degrees). Last week was wonderful. Had breakfast with some women from the moms club on Monday and then had a playdate on Tuesday. We are enjoying spending time with new women and babies. On Saturday we went out to eat at a little irish pub to celebrate St. Patricks day and went for stroll by the river. It was nice! Well I hope everyone has a wonderful week. I know we will! :o)

Wonderful Week

She makes a bigger mess now that she can pull herself up. Yay!

At the hockey game!

Told ya the sunglasses and bomber hat was cute!

She likes to play in my cupboards, hence further messes.

We had a great week last week. I didn't work quite as much, had the weekend off. It was nice to spend time with Evan and Ella. On Monday we went to Barnes and Noble for storytime. She doesn't have patients to read with me so I thought it might be better if someone else were doing it and there were other little kids around. She enjoyed it. On Tuesday we went to another hockey game and I actually enjoyed this one. We sat real close and I got to wave the flag, the Blue Jackets motto is carry the flag and so I was thrilled to carry the flag. Ella got real into it too. She was clapping and screaming because everyone around her was doing the same. I joined a MOMS group here in Columbus and I have been going to several outings with groups of moms, I really enjoy it. I met some moms at storytime on Monday and they invited me out on Thursday evening for a girls night out. We just went out and had dinner at a fancy restaurant and had a couple drinks. It was so much fun! We obviously have lots to talk about and many things in common. Ella enjoys the outings as well because there are always many kids to watch/play with. On Saturday we went to the Arnold classic, which is a bodybuidling/weightlifting expo and competition. It was real interesting, actually kind of scary. The girls were huge as were the guys! It was fun to walk around downtown, the weather was really nice. Well hopefully everyone had a wonderful weekend. Enjoy the week!

March

GO BEARCATS! Uncle Grant just won districts, now off to Regionals. Good Luck! We're cheering you on.

We caught you!

See, NO TEETH!

Ella really does love helping with laundry but can't do it without tv.

Ella playing in Madi's travel kennel.

We can't believe it's already March and also can't believe Ella will be 1 soon. Where has the year gone. She is starting to babble a lot more and its super cute because she goes from high to low, makes me laugh everytime! She also has began pulling herself up in her crib. No new firsts! The weather here has been crazy lately. One day it's warm and the next its freezing, anyways Ella, Madi, and I went for a walk the other day and Ella wore my sunglasses the whole time (about 40 min.). It was the cutest thing ever. Of course, I didn't have my camera so I didn't get a picture of but it sure made me smile. Just picture her in her bommer hat and huge sunglasses covering her entire face. We have a new travel kennel for Madi and have it set up so that she can get used to it, well Ella loves it and likes to play in it. Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

End of Feb.

We can't believe it's already the end of Feb. Ella has her 9 month appt. on her 10 month birthday. Crazy! We are all healthy and doing well. Nothing new, still trying new foods eating mostly big girl foods. We went out to eat on Monday with Jenna and had a play date yesterday with Aiden and Erin. We have had a few fun days! Last night I worked so I am pretty tired today, so we are hanging low today. Well hope this finds everyone doing well.

Another week gone!

The week went fast! I work an extra shift and have a new client so my weeks are always busier now. I like it though! On Friday we met Aiden and his mom and dad for dinner and a hockey game. The babies sure acted like they wanted to play this time but, of course, couldn't put them down. So we will hopefully be having another play date this week some time. It was fun for us too! On Valentines day we didn't do much of anything. We went grocery shopping and hung out at home. Ella did get some presents from both grandmas. They sure know how to spoil her! She enjoyed opening them up. Thanks again, we all loved them.! Yesterday, Presidents day, Evan didn't work so we had plans to go ice skating and to a movie. Well plans changed quick, our babysitters daughter got sick. So we went out for lunch and dinner and did some shopping. It was a pretty good day. I had to work all day Sunday so I was hesitant to leave Ella again for a movie. Well hopefully everyone is doing fine. Have a wonderful week.

Happy Valentines Day!

Well we had an uneventful week. Didn't do anything new, we did enjoy the beautiful weather. We are so ready for spring time! Ella had mac and cheese for the first time and she really enjoyed it. She pretty much eats what we eat with a few exceptions. As you can see in one picture she really enjoys chocolate pudding. She is still not crawling on her hands and knees just army crawling. I guess whatever works! She wants to walk by herself real badly but is very wobbly so she needs assistance. I am able to put a ponytail in her hair now, that is if she will let me. But it looks super cute! Hope everyone has a lovely Valentines Day.

LOVE,
Crystal and Ella

Crabby baby

Ella has been ridiculously crabby lately and we hope its due to teething. I picked up some natual medicine to help but it's not doing the trick, so I guess we will just have to deal with it for now. We just pray it's a phase and that she will shortly be out of it. This week we lowered her bed so now she likes to stand up and hang onto the railing although she cannot pull herself up yet without help. She is still army crawling and moves quite quickly. She also is really starting to like TV so I have been trying to do other activities with her but at 9 months old there is not much I can do. She doesn't enjoy reading yet and we can't play with her toys all day. Another reason why I can't wait for spring time. She does enjoy shopping but that hurts mommy's checkbook, if only I could window shop. Also, as you can see her hair is getting long but she hates me doing anything with it. I did happen to get a ponytail in it and it wasn't perfect but it looked so cute. I hope everyone is doing well, we are 1 month closer to springtime.
