Tired!

Ella's driving, watch out!

\
Ella should have dunked it, she made it though!

Look at those beautiful blue eyes, I hope they stay like that. Ella's didn't her are now light green.

I was pushing them around in the laundry basket which is a great workout so I guess I do workout. :o)

So I am working and am already tired of it, is that bad? I think I have just been working too much, things will start slowing down once school starts for one of my clients. We haven't done too much else on the days I don't work, we just stay home so the girls can catch up on sleep. It seems both of them don't take naps when we're out running around or even in different environments. Eva acutally doesn't sleep well at nights when she's overtired either so the last couple nights have been rough. She wakes just for me to comfort her and than falls back to sleep for 2 hours and wakes again. What a pain! No wonder I'm so tired!
This last weekend I had Sunday off so that was nice although we spent the entire day driving around looking at homes for Rent and shopping. We still are unsure of what we are going to do about buying/renting a home. We definitely need to move into something bigger but really would like to move closer to home but Evan hasn't found any jobs yet so can't do that either. I hate the unknown! On Saturday we went over to a friends house and played outside and grilled out. We are unable to have a grill at our apartment complex as of this year and we hate it!
Eva still isn't crawling although she gets to where she wants to go by rolling. Ella is talking in full sentences all the time now, its amazing! Since I have been so tired and working more I have not had time to run/ work out which is kind of a bummer since I really enjoy it. Although, Evan is training for his second half-marathon he will run with his dad this Oct. I am proud of his although it takes a lot of time away from us which we don't get a lot of anymore since our schedules are opposite.

I'm a working mommy!

Sorry there's not a lot of pictures this week I guess we have just been too busy to be taking pictures all the time. We have been running from place to place usually for my jobs. My friends have been very helpful with watching the girls if Evan can't while I go to work. The girls enjoy running too, it usually means new toys to play with and new friends. The days off are usually spent at home or doing errands. The girls are starting to sleep a little better. Eva has adjusted to bottles now so that helps and she is still stationary. We are trying to teach her how to crawl but no luck yet. Ella is getting her 2 year molars so is very crabby. I'm not used to her naughty behavior so its hard on me too. The girls still get along pretty well, Ella likes to take toys from her sister and her sister is starting to let her know she doesn't like that by screaming at her. Hopefully Ella learns quickly that she can't do that! Otherwise we're all adapting to a working mommy, daddy got to spend the whole weekend with the girls and got a lot of bonding time in.

Just the Girls

Ella's picture taking, I love this one!

Great-Grandma Evelyn made this for Eva, she looks cute in it!

Eva's 1st toothbrush, she always wanted Ella's so I gave her her own.

This weekend/week has been a struggle without Evan, I didn't think it would be that much different without him but I am tired! The girls have been great its just so much work and no down time, even nights have been hard. They both have been waking frequently which makes long nights as well as days. We had a birthday party on Saturday and than visited my friend Jenna's horses, both girls liked them. Sunday we went to church and than went to the pool and on a late evening stroll. Monday we went to get professional pictures taken and they were unsucccessful. Eva had NO smiles in her and Ella was not participating so we went back today and they were wonderful.

You will need to go to myonlineportraits.com and enter the session number: 026048 and the password: ZVXMG

Evan comes home tomorrow so I am thankful for that and I also get to leave tonight so I can go to work which I am thrilled about. Thank God for my friends!

Busy Chicks

We went to the park over the weekend to play and look for wildlife on the trails. Ella found a spider and a worm, nothing too exciting.

Playing football with daddy at the park.

I took this picture because Eva is crossing her legs, she likes to sit like this lately.

We were at Easton shopping this weekend and ran into a giant brownie and cookie. Ella loved them, and it likes like Evan does too. :o)

Ella's picture taking, she did a great job

Ella is a huge help these days, so she loves to help do the dishes, which is a huge help for me.

Well we had a wonderful week and defnitely kept busy. Monday we went to Easton which is a shopping mall outdoors. They have fountains there and on Monday they had zoo animals there for the kids. We saw foxes, and a turtle, and a crocodile, and some kind of kangaroo. Ella liked the animals but wouldn't run through the fountains unless I did it and I didn't so she just got a little wet instead of soaked. On Tuesday we went to the library for storytime, it was the last one until Sept. Ella really enjoys them now and Eva acutally seemed to like it also. On Friday we had a playdate with some new friends, they are boys and are close to Ella's and Eva's age. They had fun together although you can really tell the difference in how little boys and girls play. Ella does NOT like their roughness, but it was pretty cute he had a little motorized car he was driving and told Ella to hop it. He was such a gentlemen and shut the door behind her. It was cute, although I didn't bring my camera so I will have to get the picture from their mom. On the not busy days I was searching for jobs. I am happy to report I finally got the perfect job well one that works wonderfully with our family life. I am now working Friday and Saturday nights rotating Sat. and Sunday days. It is for a wonderful family 25 miles north of us, they live in a gated community with a beautiful house so I am happy with that. Evan is still in search. Evan is leaving us this weekend for 6 days to go on an east coast road trip with his aunt Becky and Uncle David. He is looking forward to it, although I am not. I don't like thinking about being the only adult in the house at nights, kind of scares me. So wish me luck!

Tis not the season for colds. :o(

Ella with daddy's baseball glove.

Ella is naked because she had just had an icy pop and they are way to messy. Eva also really enjoys them. They were blowing bubbles in the pic.

Evan was watching the girls. ESPN was on so Eva was just lounging.

Ella decided she would sit in her baby stroller and than asked for a push. I am surprised she didn't break it.

Ella and Kayla. I watched a friends little girl and boy while she had an appt. Ella enjoyed their company.

So we started the week off great but by Tuesday Ella was had a stuffy, runny, nose with a low grade temp. and I knew it was just a matter of time before Eva got it. Especially now with Ella always in her face. She has gotten worse lately because half the time Eva giggles at her so she keeps doing it. I acutally worked 3 different times last week so that was nice. It got me out of the house and away from the girls. Ella has been having a hard time taking naps although she desperately needs them especially cause she was sick. So she was driving me insane and Eva, I think, is teething. She seems more fussy throughout the day and talks and babbles very loudly, kind of annoying. Eva is moving more but I think she will be walking before she crawls because she hates being on her tummy. I can't believe she is almost 8 months alreay, where as the time gone. Evan and I have still been job searching, no luck yet, but we're hoping soon. I had an interview yesterday which I thought went well but haven't heard anything today. It's for an overnight position 2 days a week. It's challenging for me only because of the hours but its the only thing that works well with our family right now.

Please keep the Dunnigan family in your thoughts and prayers this week because they lost a memorable, loving, fun, man on Sunday July 25th. Rest in Peace Chuck!

Camping

Ella and I riding on a banana at the ice cream store.

Ella and her trike. She is getting better at riding it. She still struggles to get going.

Ella and the firetruck.

Ella was trying to jump over this stick that spun, she tried very hard but was just a little too slow. Pretty funny to watch.

Ella playing at the trike-a-thon. There were little stations they could stop at and this one was a water one. She liked it!

Uncle David and Ella. Looks like they're walking on water. It was shallow even far out.

Us in Lake Erie.

Real sand so soft and fluffy when it wasn't wet. I thought this would be a cute one to frame.

Naked baby in public.

Roasting a marshmallow for smores.

Eva and I on the Ferry!

Ella is sure a copycatter, since Uncle David was checkin out the boats so was she. He didn't even know she was there.

Since the island was 4 miles long we had to take a taxi downtown so we didn't get a chance to swim in the lake again so we stopped by some fountains to cool off. Ella loved them.

Ella's an oompa loompa. We stopped at a chocolate store and looked around and had some ice cream.

I thought it was cool the sign said Crystal Cave, we actually also stayed in Crystal Rock campgrounds.

Ella was petting and feeding the deer. Not sure what kind they were because they were big but still had spots like fawns. Interesting, they were pretty tame.

Well we had a great week and even a better weekend. We had some playdates and went to the Graeter's Ice Cream store to play indoors one day due to rainy weather. We got to see ice cream being made and enjoy some of it too. We also had Ella's trike-a-thon on Saturday morning. It was a moms fundraiser to raise money for the Ronald McDonald house here in Columbus. It was a lot of fun and we raised $550 so it was a good turnout. We didn't plan on doing anything on the weekend but Evan's aunt Becky and Uncle David were camping 2 hours away from us and wondered if we wanted to come and visit. We did and had a wonderful time, we went swimming in Lake Erie and took a Ferry boat to Put-In Bay Island. It was like we were on some tropical island, for 1 it was freakin hot and 2 it was so full of tourist attractions. The only way to get to the Island was take the Ferry so many people just lived there during the summer because in the winter the Lake freezes over and they are stuck on the island. Of course, there are grocery stores and stuff so it wouldn't be that bad, probably like Cando, ND. :o) Thanks Uncle David and Aunt Becky we had a great time and got in some camping for the summer.

Eva in her bouncy seat, she likes it but not as much as Ella does.

Ella flying with daddy.

Let's play ball!

Ella and Madi

Well sorry a little late it's been a busy week. Evan and I have been applying for jobs left and right. I have been waiting until we move but obviously its taking a little longer than we thought so I have applied at Childrens for a home health position, pretty much what I do now just more work. I would still be able to schedule my own hours so it should work out wonderfully with the girls and Evan. Evan has started to look outside the government in Minn. with help from some close friends. So pray that we find something so we can soon be closer to home. We also started looking at houses just in case we stay here we will know what we're looking for so we can move when our lease is up. So many decisions!! Otherwise the girls have been great well except for at night. Ella has been waking up for whatever reason and has a hard time getting back to sleep so I am usually up for awhile with her and than Eva usually wakes 1-2 times so some nights I feel I don't sleep at all. Eva seems like she is teething also biting and drouling but we thought Ella was teething for a whole year so who knows. It has still been really hot here so we try to pick indoor activites or ones involving water. We went to the library for storytime one day, a moms house for sprinkler fun, and a couple playdates with Ella's friends. We stayed pretty busy during the week but the weekend was relaxing. I had CPR classes most of the day on Saturday and Sunday we just looked at a few homes. Wish us luck!
