July 4th

There are some more cute pictures for you all. She has started smiling in response to us so she takes cuter pictures. The one with the nuk in her mouth was taken because if you can't read it clearly it says "MY MOM ROCKS", it was from a friend from high school.(Thanks Dan) So perfect, huh! I thought I also better post one of her naked so you all could see her little rolls forming, hence the bathtub one. She enjoys her baths now! We also just got 2 month pics taken so they should be online for everyone to see in a couple days.

She took some pretty cute ones, but of course got fussy towards the end. Her and I took some together but I did not plan on doing that and I was not impressed with them. So, do not be frightened! The cute dress she is wearing is from Cyndi, my past, wonderful boss from UND. It is super adorable, we have gotten lots of compliments on it. (Thanks Cyndi).
For the 4th of July our family is going to visit Evan's aunt and uncle in Tennessee. It should be fun and exciting traveling with a little one. We have never ventured that far south so it should be interesting to see the beauty of it all. I hope everyone else has a happy 4th and safe travels.

2 months

Ella will be 2 months old this week, can't believe it. We are enjoying her as she has become more interactive. She smiles when we make funny noises or sing to her. She has continued to grow, I am anxious to see how much she weighs now. Our next doctors appt. is July 3rd. She also recieves 4 immunizations at this dr.'s appt., so I am not looking forward to it. I did mention that her eyes were red and inflamed so I did bring her in and she was diagnosed with pink eye. My poor baby, she got drops and within 2 days they were better. She is well now and otherwise we are doing good here. We are going to Tennessee for the 4th of July to spend time with Evan's aunt and uncle and to see the beautiful state of Tennessee. Should be interesting traveling with a little one. Hopefully everyone is doing well and you all enjoy the

New computer

Just writing to let everyone we finally got our new computer and it works wonderfully. We haven't yet set up the camera uploading program so can not upload any of Ella's recent pictures. Evan will be working on that this weekend. Ella's eyes are also getting better. We actually had to take her in and it turns out she has pink eye in both of her eyes. So she got her drops and they're already getting better. Over the weekend I had class to help me prepare for the NCLEX. So Ella and daddy did some bonding. They both enjoyed it! Evan enjoyed his first father's day! Well have to go baby Ella just woke up. Take care!

7 Weeks

Ella is now 7 weeks old. She has continued to grow like a weed. So sorry it has taken me so long to update. Our computer is acting up so I was kind of waiting until our new one arrives but then it got put on back order so I thought I better update. I also have been quite busy; I am taking a class to help me study for my big licensure test (NCLEX). It consists of 8 hour days for 4 days a week. They are long and tiring. A nurse friend from Katie's watches Ella on the weekday's and Evan now has been watching her this weekend. He finally has time to bond with her, and he loves it. They watched golf and baseball all day, sounds fun! She has been having troubles with her eyes. They are watery, red, inflammed, and get crusty. Not sure what that is about. The dr. once mentioned it could be a plugged tear duct but I wasn't aware that they would get red and inflammed. Who knows I just hope it doesn't get any worse to where we have to take her in. So here are some good pictures. Also we took one month pictures about 3 weeks ago, sorry forgot to mention it. It was quite and ordeal., glad grandma Mary was with. Ella was sleepy so tried to wake her and then she was hungry so I fed her a little, and then the camera broke so the pictures aren't the best but did find 2 we really liked. Not to upset though because I plan on getting pictures every month, and I'm not sure what to do with all the pictures anyway. To view them go to:

All alone

We are alone now, just me and Ella. This is the third day already and I realize now just how hard mommyhood is. I thought we would try working on a schedule but it didn't work out so well yesterday. I tried to keep her up in the morning, which was a success and than she wouldn't fall asleep in the afternoon. And she has troubles gettting to bed at night, it's never before 11. So I think it will be rough but we will get a schedule down, I just have to remember she is only 5 weeks old. I wouldn't be so stressed out if I didn't have studying to do. Yes, I did graduate but I still have to get my license which I want to do by the end of June. It is tough getting any studying in a day. You would think being at home all day with just you and a baby you could get lots of things done. WRONG! It's tough. Well I still enjoy her and love her so much. As you can see by the picture of her on her tummy, she sleeps with her butt in the air. It's because of her gas issues. It's cute though! In the other picture, Evan's brother Jon is holding her, he's a proud uncle. Well hope all is well with everyone.
