Happy Easter

Eva in the high-chair, what a big girl! She was watching Ella and I make pancakes.

Again the girls and their daddy....NO mommy!

Ella's having a baby. :o)

We are super excited for the G&G Lindahl and Uncle Grant to come for Easter. They arrive Thurs. afternoon and will leave on Monday, so a nice 3 days with them. Hopefully it goes slowly! We do have some fun days planned because the weather is supposed to be so beautiful. ( in the 70's) The marathon training started today, wish me luck. I just pray I have the energy and time to train. We had a good week last week. We were busy with the mom's club; we went to the Franklin Park Conservatory to see the butterflies and fish and plants. Ella had a great time and loved the butterflies. One landed on her head and she still talks about it, although I think she was a little scared of it not excited about it. I ended up working again this weekend Friday and Saturday nights so we didn't do much again this weekend. I got my hair done so that was the highlight of my weekend. It's so exciting to become someone new with a new hair color. Ella is talking so much more and repeating about everything we say. So we have to watch it more closely. Daddy thinks it's pretty funny though especially when he tells Eva to pipe it and Ella repeats it, "Eea pie it!" Eva is so close to giggling and I love it, Ella never giggled so I was almost in tears one night listening and watching her smile. We wish everyone safe travels and a Happy Easter.

Back to work

Ella still likes to wear her boots around the house.

Eva likes to play with toys and blankets.

Ella likes to clean her own ears. :o)

Well I am not officially back to work because Eva still won't take a bottle but I did work Friday, Sat, and Sunday nights at my old job. I was able to take her with me because the other 2 kids were in Florida at Disney World. It was nice to see my client again and know that a little extra cash will be coming our way. We didn't do much this weekend because for 1 March Madness took over Evan's life and 2 I was a little tired from working nights. It also was a little too chilly to stay outside for long. We are so excited to bring Ella to the zoo but her sister would appreciate it if we waited for nicer weather; so we wait. The girls and I stayed busy doing activies within the moms club this week. I was able to go out all by myself with some moms and have dinner, it was very much needed. Another day we had a tour of Trader Joe's, which is an organic/natural food store. They do a lot of fun things for the kids, like little grocery carts and hidden dolphins. It helps make grocery shopping fun for them too. We had 2 playdates also last week but by the end of the week Ella was saying Home, lets just stay home. So she had enough running, she is starting to be like her mommy- a homebody. Well we can't wait for the arrivial of G&G Lindahl and Uncle Grant, it's been way to long since we have seen them. Counting down the days.

Home sick

Ella showing her love.

Ella's favorite thing to do- popping bubbles.

Eva is such a happy baby, she always has a smile on her face. Her hair is now long enough and thick enough to put barrets in.

Ella watching tv on her tool (aka her stool).

Ella wearing her hat like her daddy! Who knows why she isn't wearing a shirt.

So we were supposed to go last weekend and be home this week but unfortunately the boys BB team did not win their game. They were undefeated and lost in overtime by 1 so I guess it wasn't meant to be. So being home today is sad and lonely. :o( I just hate the fact that Nellie and I both have new babies and we have not met. My mom is the only one in my family who has even seen Eva. I hate living so far away! Evan's parents are thankfully coming to visit for Easter and we are meeting my parents in Seattle in April to visit Uncle Brett and Aunt Ashley. I keep thinking its going to get better but it hasn't yet, I guess time will only tell. So last week the girls were finally feeling themselves so we were busy with the mom's club and with playdates. It was also very beautiful here, around 70 one day, so Eva, Ella, and I went for a walk. Eva fell asleep so I guess she enjoyed it! This weekend was uneventful, we did want to do something since we were all packed and everything but decided we should just save are money for our Seattle trip in April. It was chilly this weekend so not much to do outside but we are looking forward to bringing Ella to the zoo this summer. She will love it! Today brings more running/stuffy noses for the girls so I hope its just a mild cold. Poor babies!

still sick :o(

Ella and Eva watching tv.

Ella helping daddy with the paper shredder.

Evan and Ella went for a run yesterday. First time we used the new jogging stroller, they both said they had a good time. I can't wait until we can all go as a family. We will have to do it often because we are officially running a half marathon in June.

Nice plumber crack, huh! Really why do little girls (toddlers) have low rise jeans.

Ella wanted to put my running shoes on.

Eva is really sick but she still gave a little smile. Bless her heart, she is so much different than Ella was. Thank God

Eva's hair is really growing, I try to tame it when I can. It usually sticks straight up in the back. Mohawk!

Eva sitting up in her Bumbo seat! She seems to like it sitting by Ella.

Seriously I am really sick of the girls being sick. Some of you know how germaphobic I am so I don't like to take the girls out alot or around lots of kids. I certainly can't stay at home all the time either so you decide to take them out and have some fun and than you get sick and are forced to stay at home anyways. You can't win! So, I have been cooped up indoors for way too long and am kind of going crazy. Evan let me leave the house in the evening a couple times to go running but thats it. I am looking forward to leaving this next Friday for ND. The girls should both definitely be fine by then. First Ella caught a cold and it was pretty bad so her nose finally just stopped running. I did a great job of keeping Ella away from Eva for the first 3 days when Ella was coughing and sneezing so much but by the 4th day I just couldn't keep her away so Eva caught it and was pretty miserable. She is still congested but not nearly as bad. She somehow still had the energy to smile so it was nice to see that while she was sick. I felt so helpless! It finally warmed up here this weekend, close to 50 degress each day. We love it! Just in time for us to travel back to ND.

Sick

Eva is all bundled, it's still so cold here. Ella would say brrrrrrr!

Ella and her daddy like to see how big they can build.

Ella has a rough time taking naps and usually falls asleep unusual ways, she finally just gives up and closes her eyes in whatever position.

Well we didn't take too many pictures this last week because Ella has had a really bad cold/cough. We also didn't do anything so we have been really bored, so looking forward to Spring. We are also excited to be traveling home in 2 weeks, although kind of scared because we are driving with 2 little girls. We may be insane by the time we arrive, thank god we will have family to help us when we get home. So Ella is officially potty trained and wears underwear even on outings and pull-ups at night, but she usually wakes up dry and pees in the morning. We are so proud of her! Eva is becoming so much more alert and is such a happy baby. Ella was never this way and I enjoy it so much. This last weekend I got to go shopping all by myself, thanks to my husband. It was so nice and very much needed! Although, I wasn't gone long because Eva still will not take a bottle. We're working on it!
