Move Complete

Eva with her favorite stuffed monkies

Our new dining room table that we do not use. It looks amazing though! It sits on carpet so until the girls are a little older we will be eating in the kitchen on our old table that I will be painting.

Eva reading...She loved to read books.

Ella loves to read too!

It's a dream come true...to have an attached garage, no wall to wall neighbors, and more space. Most of everything is unpacked and we are going to organize the rest of it this weekend. We then will post pictures so you all can see our marvelous house. Sorry I haven't updated sooner, we still do not have internet/cable but I am at work tonight so have it here. Uncle Dave and Aunt Becky sent lots of pictures of the move and I am including some, I want to take more after the weekend and show you the finished product. They were such great help, we really could not have done it without them. Thank you! We are supposed to get internet/cable on Tues. so hopefully later next week I will be able to update again. Eva and Ella love their own bedrooms and the stairs. Eva still isn't walking but could if she wanted to, she prefers to knee-walk.

We're moving!

Our new house: 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths! More pictures once we get moved in!

It's about time I say WE'RE MOVING! We are so extremely excited and way past ready to move into our 1st home. Of course, its not necessarly ours because we're renting but we can do with it what we want. We haven't been taking too many pictures, I guess we have been preoccupied with packing and shopping for the new house. Evan's trip home went well and Mary's surgery went smoothly. Mary went home already on Sunday and is quickly recovering. She feels alright but gets easily tired. Evan was happy to be home and was excited to see all the boxes as Becky and I were busy packing while he was gone. It was my Birthday on Sunday and it was one of the best yet. I got flowers,2 baseball hats, CAKE, a treadmill, and the keys to the house. So exciting!

I got flowers from Evan and flowers from our new landlords. They're wonderful!

Ella and I on my birthday.

We went over on Monday to start cleaning it and we barely got any done. The girls were bored and the house was filthy. So I found a friend to watch the girls on Thursday so I could go all by myself and hopefully get it ready to move in. Uncle Dave and Aunt Becky are returning on Friday to help us move this weekend. What wonderful family we have so close by! Wish us luck and good weather on our moving weekend.

Ella watching Dora, naked with her mouth open. Too funny!

We're moving

Look at Eva's long hair and good news I'm finally starting to see some curls now. Yay!

Eva and Ella dancing at the library during the milkshake song.

Ella thought my concealer was lipstuff. Oops!

The girls and I reading books we just got from the library.

Uncle David took Ella outside to play.

Eva got this Zebra from G&G Lindahl for Christmas. Well they both love it and want to play with it at the same time so they go for rides.

Ella was sick one morning so she laid on the floor and Eva was having a great time crawling over her. It was a good thing Ella didn't feel too terribly bad.

This week is a little different than most. Evan is gone and Aunt Becky is here to stay. We are packing up all of our stuff to move on the 22nd so feel so out of routine. Mary's surgery went well today and is on the road to recovery. She will be in the ICU until tomorrow around noon and than will be in the hospital for roughly a week. Send prayers her way!
Ella and Eva are adjusting well to mess well, they like to play with and on the boxed and with new things we find in storage (umbrellas and boots- who knew it was supposed to rain today ;o)) Ella has a great imagination. She is really excited to move into more space to run around in. I forgot to mention last week that over Christmas time Eva got 3 new teeth on the top and is working on the 4th one on the top now. She isn't too fussy but likes to chew on stuff, completely different than Ella was. She is NOT walking yet and seems to have no interest in it but defintely gets where she wants to go quickly by crawling. Becky has been great with the girls and swears Eva can say puppy. She is also amazed that Eva pees and poops on the potty. My big girl! We were at stortime today and Eva loves the milkshake song and she very loudly tells everyone that she does. The teacher and the moms were all laughing at her as she swung her head back and forth, screamed, and giggled, while jumping up and down on her knees. I'm going to have to record it and try to post it. I have never posted a video before so hope I can do it. Its so cute!
Well wish us luck, we will soon be in a house! yay for us!

Happy New Year

Baby Tyler and Ella on Sunday morning after they gave each other hugs/kisses.

The last night before we left (Saturday night). We met them in Fargo because they had been stranded since Wednesday.

A turkey outside of the Vondals house.

The girls again watching Dora.

Ella at Uncle Grants ball game. Go Bearcats!

Ella, Eva, and Savy wathcin Dora I suppose.

The drift in front of the Vondal house.

We went bowling one night and Ella loved it. It was her first time and she did great, with bumpers of course and the help of Auntie Alana and Uncle Jon.

Evan and Jon shoveling off the roof.

Ella crawling through a tunnel CJ and Savy made.

Winter wonderland.

Ella and her new fake puppy.

Ella and Eva had matching pj's which had their names on them. They were so cute!

Eva on Christmas morning.

Ella writing Santa a letter!

Baby Tyler got underwear for Christmas and took his pants off right away and put them on. If only it were that easy. Good luck Nellie! He was so super cute though, he loved them!

Eva, daddy, and Grandpa Christmas Eve night.

Tyler and Ella locked in Gage's (Uncle Brett's dog) kennel. (Another highlight for Ella.)

Eva's favorite gift from Uncle Brett and Aunt Ashley. It's a Dora doll.

Great Grandma Vondal and Great Grandma Charb. We were happy to have both of them on Chrismas Eve. Eva liked them!

Ella and daddy on Christmas Eve.

Grandpa Jim and Eva. Eva was such a good sport about new people, she has only seen my dad 1 other time and went to him without fussing. I was so proud of her. I think it helps to be so involved in the moms club/library activities.

Baby Tyler and Ella playing with the treadmill.

Me and the girls Christmas Eve.

Ella and her cousin Savy, She loved her and followed her around everywhere.

Auntie Alana and Eva probably watching Dora.

The girls got some early Christmas presents, the one being a book for Ella and Eva recorded from G&G. It is perfect, every night we can now hear G&G voice before bed.

Ella howling like a timberwolf. On the way home we stopped in Minneapolis for a day and went out with some old college friends and went to a T-wolves game. The girls, unfortunately didn't last the entire game. Alana and I brought them home early which left the boys having fun.

We had a great time at home which ended up being 2 days longer because of the blizzard conditions in ND. It was nice to stay those extra days but it was awful driving home in 2 long days. We were hoping to take it slowly on the way home stopping frequently to see new things and visit some friends. Well maybe next time! We stayed at the Lindahls for the first 5 days and than at my parents house for the remainder of the time. It couldn't have worked out better! The girls slept well, probably not enough but they slept all night every night so I was thankful for that. I think the highlight for me was going out with some old high school friends, I had so much fun. It was great to see them and catch up. The highlight for Ella was baby Tyler and her cousin CJ & Savy. She also LOVED Auntie Hopie because she was goofy with her. Ella loved to tease her, she would tell her NO tisses for auntie Hopie but would ask for her when she wasnt around. The highlight for Eva I think was all the attention especially from her grandmas and grandpas. They love her sooooo much. Evan's favorite part of the trip was probably shoveling, haha! I shoveled more than he's ever shoveled. The closer we got to Ohio the happier we were to see grass and NO snow, although with us wanted to move closer to home we are going to have to sacrafice the cold weather and the snow. That's alright I guess as long as we have family/friends close by. So again Evan's highlight was seriously the T-wolves game or Grants BB game. We were fortunate enought to seen his little brother Grant play a high school game. He is a senior this year and they have a very good team, they are hoping to make it to state. I didn't get a lot of pictures with my family, my camera was never out but I grabbed moms everytime I saw a kodak moment. :o) So overall we had a wonderful time with family/friends and hope to have next Christmas here in Ohio in our new house(without snow/blizzards).
Please pray for Grandma Mary as she will be having heart surgery on Jan. 10th. Evan will be traveling home via plane or car, unsure yet what is happening. We love you grandma and will be thinking and praying for you.
