Potty Trained

Ella playing with an empty beer bottle. Daddy told her to stick her hip out, she was trying.

We caught Ella sitting in her dolly stroller. I'm surprised she didn't brake it!

Evan is a heater for Eva, so he gets her to sleep very easily in any position.

Ella still loves to get a ride of daddy's shoulders.

She also likes to give her baby rides on her shoulders. Super cute!

Eva is very smily now, I love it!

We are officially potty trained and I am extremely proud of my little girl. Her pediatrician said just a couple weeks ago that she is so young and not too worry and look at her now. She loves wearing her Dora panties and is kind of obsessed with going potty. She goes more often than she should I think because she wants treats. That is going to have to stop soon.
Since we got so much snow last week every thing we had planned got cancelled. So, we had a quiet week. By Wednesday we busted out the snow and met some friends for lunch at Chick-fil-a so the kids could play indoors. It was good for all of us to get out. Then on Wednesday night we left the girls with some friends so we could have a date night. We went to an OSU BB game, it was acutally a very good game so we were happy we went (Even me). Ella had a great time but Eva would not take the bottle or sleep so she was tired and hungry when we got back. Poor baby! Friday we had a playdate with the moms club kids and than I (by myself) went to moms night in. It was nice to socialize with other moms and get out of the house with no attachments. Although Evan called and said I had to come home because Eva would not take the bottle. So our goal these next couple weeks are to get Eva to take the bottle. Ella was a pill all week because she is getting more teeth so nap times and night time is a struggle and she doesn't sleep well either. So now that Eva is sleeping better, Ella is not. I'm still up 2-4 times a night with one of them. Eva acutally slept all night long last Wednesday but that was after she didn't sleep all evening at the babysitters so I don't think that will happen again for a little while. It was nice though! We did nothing all weekend, extrememly boring. Ella and I did go for a walk. It's getting nicer here and things are starting to melt. Hopefully that continues and its spring before we know it.

More Snow

Ella and I made snow angels.

I feel like I'm back in ND, we have been getting so much snow and we are sick of it. I don't know how you North Dakotans deal with it all winter long. So today as we speak, it's snowing and we are in a winter weather warning. We are supposed to get 8-12 in of snow. I don't think I have ever seen that much here at once, although my mom and dad would disagree because when they visited 2 years ago in March it snowed a lot and we were stormed in for awhile. So it's not that often we get that much snow. We are looking forward to spring, although it may be quite awhile before it gets here. On Monday we had a playdate with our friends, Aiden and Erin. They played real well together as you can see. They both like to make messes.

On Monday night Ella got sick (puky sick) it only lasted overnight. Thank God! Evan took care of Ella while I took care of Eva. I lucked out! Thanks honey! We didn't do much the rest of the week because I wasn't sure what Ella had and didn't want her doing too much at once. On Wednesday Eva had her 2 month appt. She now weighs 13lbs 6oz. and is 23.5 in long. Almost identical to Ella who was 13lbs 4oz. and 24.5 in long. Eva had to get 3 shots, she did alright though. She cried for only a short while! She was an angel for 2 days afterwards too, it just knocked her right out.

Look at Eva's chubby chubby legs and her battle wounds. :o(

Friday we had a playdate with the moms club and Ella had a great time. We all did because we finally got out of the house. We had a pretty uneventful weekend, we planned to go shopping today for me but, of course, we couldn't but not because of the kids this time. It's this crazy weather. We did, although potty train this weekend. Just decided to put her in underwear because I know she is ready. She has peed 5 times over the course of 3 days otherwise it's been in the potty or in her pull-up when we go out. We're getting there!

First day in my new undies. :o)

What daddy's weekend consisted of. He hurt his back playing BB on Saturday morning so he held Eva a lot.

Visitors

Eva has become alot more alert this week. She found her hands and stares at that crossed eyed. She smiles in response to us now and it just melts my heart.

All bundled up!

Ella loves to sit close to her sister and Eva loves to watch Ella. Bestest of sisters. So far so good!

Ella is wearing mommy's glasses!

On Monday we had the pleasure of having Evan's aunt and uncle visit. They just came up for the afternoon from Tennessee and brought us dinner and dessert. It was nice to have visitors and show off our new addition to the family.

The rest of the week we tried to keep busy. Wednesday we spent the day at a friends house like most Wednesdays, Ella loves it there. Friday we usually have playdate with the moms club members but it was storming here so we just stayed home, although I told a friend I would watch her kids so I still had to go out in the storm that evening. Eva and I made it home safetly! On Saturday we had dinner with a mom's club member that I have become friends with. They also have 2 girls and they all played well together.

Ava (4) and Ella played so well together.

Today, of course, was spent watching football. I'm glad the season is finally over, although March madness will be here before we know it as will baseball season. Yay me!
