Renters :o)

Eva loves to play peek-a-boo under and above this table. Ella likes to make her giggle! Oh and that Eva's 1st pony tail. :o)

Ella's playing video games at the island all by herself. What a big girl!

OSU campus- a view looking at the BB arena. I think it looks pretty!

Evan and I went to an OSU BB game for a datenight. It was so nice to get away for a few hours.

We are super excited to have our own house now but even more excited that its not completely ours. We are just renting because we are still trying to move closer to family/friends. Anways, this week its been nicer which means rain instead of snow and we got water in Ella's room. So we are in search of what its from, kind of mysterious, although last night we had a major thunderstorm- heavy, heavy rain and lots of wind. Our landlord patched up a part of the siding and we got just a little water so that must have been it. Just in time because Ella's whole room would have been flooded. We didn't do too much this weekend. Ella and Eva caught a cold so they have been a little under the weather. Last week though we had a few playdates, all of which were at our house. Kind of nice having to not run! We went for our 1st run/walk this spring and the girls are in fact, heavier. :o) It was nice to explore around our neighborhood. We also met 1 of our neighbors which I am kind of familiar with since I've been over visiting my friend who used to live here. We also explored out backyard a little more, there has been snow out there until just recently. We have a little place for a garden and 2 areas which need TLC. Last May they removed 2 bushes so there are 2 holes in our yard. We might put a sandbox in one of them and fill the other. I also have to do some research on gardening- veg/ flowers. I know nothing! Wish me luck.

Our 1st walk of Spring

Well Eva is getting better at walking and does it by herself now. Still has only 5 teeth and is going pee and poop in the potty so hopefully we will be trained sooner than later. Ella had her 1st haircut on Saturday and she did very well. She was a little scared I think because of the scissors but she didn't fuss or cry. She was happy to get a sucker afterwards. :o) We just trimmed it since her ends were getting very knotty. The girls are enjoying the warmer weather and are excited to be outside playing.

Cincy

Ella and daddy won a huge puppy at the arcade..Ella was so happy!

Ella and her puppy on the way home...I'm not sure who's bigger.

Us and the jellyfish...those are some cool fish...

Ella and a frog! It's kind of ironic but we took Ella to this aquarium when she turned 1 and she picked the same frog to sit on.

Eva and Ella looking at some more fish!

Eva pointing to a fish...she thought they were pretty cool.

Ella and I bundled up!

Eva all bundled up waiting outside to get into the aquarium.

Evan went to a Ketucky game at Rupp arena this weekend! He thought the atmosphere was amazing! He had a good time.

Eva's walking...we are still having to cheer her on to keep it up but I think its getting better. Ella likes to help her but occasionally goes a little too fast for her.

ELla and Eva riding their new car outside! They both loved it, if you can't tell.

We had a great week last week especially since it warmed up for a few days. All of our snow melted and we got to go outside and play. A friend of mine needed help letting her puppies out during the week so we were able to go over and play with the puppies and the outside kitties. We also pet and fed her 4 horses! Ella loved it! I was happy that it wasn't too terribly cold out. On Saturday morning after I got home from work we left for Cincinnati/Ketucky. I was supposed to get home a lot earlier but got stuck at work so plans changed from a baseball tour to shopping. I was pretty upset. :o) There is a huge outlet mall on the way to Cincy and so we all got lots of new clothes, can't pass up the deals! After shopping we drove to Ketucky so we could drop off Evan at the game. We didn't go because we would have all needed tickets and for the girls that would have been a huge waste of money so we went swimming at the hotel instead. We picked up daddy and went out to eat and since the girls didn't nap all day they were ready for bed early. Bedtime went pretty smoothly in our room, I was impressed! A new place is always hard. On Sunday we left as soon as we got ready and went back to Cincy. We oringinally wanted to go to the zoo but it was 34 and drizzly so we decided the aquarium was a better choice. Although we had to wait in line outside for the aquarium for an hour so we probably should have just went to the zoo. The girls enjoyed it though! After that we had lunch and played games at the arcade, Ella's new favorite thing. From there we went to IKEA, a much awaited experience for me. It was amazing and so overwhelming, I wanted everything! We did find a few things but were unable to purchase anything to large because we had the car full of stuff from the weekend, guess we'll have to make another trip there. Eva had her 1st shower at the hotel and she didn't like it much but more than Ella liked her 1st shower. We all had a great weekend but were happy to be home on Sunday. Evan had Monday off and it was just a relaxing day, Evan actually has a little sinus cold so he has been kind of under the weather. I wanted to send prayers to great-grandma Evelyn and grandma Mary, wish we were closer. I would be by your girls' side in a heart beat.

Happy Valentines Day!

Daddy and Ella pretending to sleep, Eva didn't get the memo though! :o)

I took the girls mini-bowling on Monday with some friends for Valentines Day! They had a great time!

Eva loved it too!

Ella was invited to Ayla's birthday party. Ella, Lila, and Ayla went to Sweet and Sassy a store for toddlers. They got their nails painted, hair done, and make-up on. They loved it and all sat so well! No fussing! Ella and Ayla are checkin themselves out in the mirror. too cute!

Ella all dolled up and posing!

The 3 girls!

The girls getting thier hair done!

Ella letting her BLUE nails dry! She was happy!

The air is sooo dry here, the girls' hair is always crazy!.

Ella and daddy!

Eva's a crawler!

We went to a tea party! The girls put their tutus on and everything. All the girls were running around Sammy- what a lucky little boy.

The girls eating at the tea party table. Eva had a great time too and she even got to sit in a Dora seat. She loved it!

The girls had PB & grilled cheese sandwhiches with fruit snacks and kool-aid.

Another pic of the kids at the tea party table!

So another week gone by so quickly...its already Wednesday sorry for the delay. I mentioned we were all settled in but we're still busy deep cleaning- wiping down closets/blinds and shopping for the perfect furniture. It takes a lot of time! Plus we have been busy with the moms club stuff and playdates. We had a tea party last week, a birthday party that was amazing for Ella, and mini-bowling on Valentines Day. Just the other day we went over to a friends house to let her puppies out to potty and fed the horses and pet the kitties so the girls thought that was pretty cool. And big news....Eva is now walking!! Yay! Well you still have to force her but she definitely can walk across a room easily. Ella is great with her and helping her and cheering her on to keep walking. As long as people are cheering her on she will just keep on truckin. Ella has quite the imagination and its great but gets old quickly. She always is screamin theres a monster/Lion coming, we better run and hide. It keeps her moving. I cant wait for Eva to get older so she can be crazy with her. Ella recently loves hot choc. and Eva eggs. Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day! We did- got flowers from daddy and I made the best cheesecake ever!

Finally Settled

Ella and Eva riding their pony.

Ella and Eva wearing their tutus from Auntie Nellie. They came with a book "I wear my tutu everywhere". Ella wanted to do just that, I hid them though so she can't.

Ella and Eva coloring at the table. THe table I couldn't wait to get rid of but that is still with us. There just is no way we can eat in the dining room. It is carpeted and that is out of the question with 2 little girls. I plan on paiting the table legs which will greatly help its appearance...I hope!

Ella and Eva with Rosie Red. We went to the mall last weekend to see some of the Reds players.

We had a playdate with Aiden and Eli and Ella loved Eli, she wouldn't leave him alone.

Eva loungin on the couch watchin Dora.

Eva and Ella in the morning at our new house.

I took the girls to this Firefly cafe which is a modern indoor play area for kids 2-5. I made some extra time for them while we were moving. I felt like I didn't pay a lot of attention to them so we took a day and went to play with a friend.
They all loved the bounce house. Eva, of course, couldn't bounce but Ella and Sammy helped her out.

Playing on the playhouse. Eva loved it as you can tell!
\
Both Ella and Eva loved all the empty closets/cupboards to play in.

Well I know its been awhile since I last posted. So sorry! We just got internet/cable last Tuesday and I just haven't found the time to update. I also wanted to include pics of the house but the weekends are when we get the most done. We now feel like this is home! We still have things to buy/shop around for but it will be done before we know it. Life is busy, when Evan's not working I am and vice versa and then he plays BB on Wed. nights so we dont really get the option to get a lot done. Eva is still NOT walking, could totally if she wanted to. She can walk across the room with Ella holding her hand and I know she doesn't support her she just isn't confident enough to do if herself yet. Ella and Eva both love the extra space. We all run around and utilize the entire house including the unfinished basement.
/
That is now our gym- a new treadmill (for my b-day), weights, and cable tv, couldn't be better. We have started working out when the girls go to bed at night and it seems to be working just fine! We have been pretty busy with the moms club activites lately and playdates each week. So everything is great in our world but we're thinking of you grandma. We love you!
