Happy Birthday Ella

Grandpa with his girls at the bowling Alley...waiting to play games and eat dinner. G&G wanted to help Ella celebrate so they brought her out to eat and even bought her a chocolate cake....she loved everything! Thanks G&G!

Ella and her build a bear named Spot!

Ella's building her bear and Eva's!

She got to push the foot peddle to fluff him.

Unlce Grant (Bum) hangin out with Ella. Evan has taught Ella to call Uncle Bum so thats what she does. So nice of her!

Eva trying to put her shoes on!

Grandpa and Eva layin on her backpack! It took quite awhile to get Eva to understand that she had to put her head on it. It was cute watchin them.

Eva on her egg hunt in our backyard.

The girls on their hunt...since it rains everyday the backyard was very wet so the girls had to wear boots with their cute little dresses.

Evan and Eva just chillin...Eva had been so reserved lately. We love it!

We celebrated Ellas birthday with G&G on Saturday and Ella recieved this present from Uncle Jon and Aunt Alana. She loves it and was very proud of herself that she could put it together with little help.

Us on Easter! The girls were sick of pictures but the action shot of us is cute!

Us again!

G&G with the girls...what a cute one.

All of us. We had 10 seconds to run into place...it worked great!

Grandpa reading his favorite...The Berenstein Bears to the girls.

Ella hunting for eggs at the moms Easter eggs hunt!

Yay! Eva found one...it took her awhile to figure out that the eggs go in her basket but she loved it.

I know safe mommy...putting my daughter on the counter! Anyways Eva was feeding Ella yogurt and she was giggling like crazy!

Well our company is gone and it was sad to watch them drive away this morning. They dont come often nor do they stay long so its depressing when they leave. We had a great time and savored every minute together. They arrived on Friday afternoon and the girls both ran to them with open arms. We relaxed together since G&G and Grant drove through the night...kinda tired. On Saturday G&G unofficially called it Ella's birthday so they could help her celebrate. They brought her to build-a-bear so she could pick out her very own bear (puppy in her case) and stuff it and dress it herself. She loved that experience although the wait was exhausting! We came home for a quick nap and then went out to eat and to play games at a nearby bowiling alley. Ella had a great time! Sunday we went to church and had our big feast along with a few Easter egg hunts; one in the house and one outside. The weather was warm with periodic showers. Today we said goodbye, ran a few errands, and are busy getting ready for Ella's birthday party on Saturday. She's looking forward to it, although I work the night before so unsure of how I will feel. I guess just drink lots of caffiene (or alcohol)-:o) and I'll make it through it. On thursday we went to the moms Easter egg hunt and the girls had a great time, again a little wet and messy but worth it. On Wednesday we went to the library, tried to stay busy last week as always. I can't believe my baby is 3 already...advantaged and disadvantages I guess! I have loved every minute of it and look forward to what the future holds fo her. Eva must be growing, she is sleeping lots! She is also getting another tooth- so she has 10 - a mouthful! We hope everyone had a safe and happy Easter!

Happy Easter

This is her happy happy face...she sometimes closes her eyes and runs toward you or into things. :o) But its the cutest thing ever.

My Eva Diva! (So Chrissy called her- what a great nickname).

Ella in her tutu.

The girls in their tutus! Eva's hair is kind of crazy but she likes to play with it too much...so to keep it up and out of her face is a task.

Eva reading on the potty...we have started stressing potty time more this week, bringing her more regularily. It seems to be working so far, sometimes she goes there after she has just gone potty but at least she's getting it.

I love this pic...what a close up!

We got a new pony from a friend and boy do they love it!

Ella riding Cocoa....she named him! Her love for chocolate shows!

All we do is ride...and it produces such big smiles. I love it! Good thing we have more space for toys. :o)

Well we are excited to have company for Easter this year, G&G Lindahl will be arriving on Friday and will be here just 3 short days. So happy they are making the trip to see us and our new house. Safe travels! Last week we had a few playdates, met some friends at the park for a picnic and some play time and went to the library. I worked like normal on Friday and on the weekend we did some outside work and a few errands. We are getting ready for pictures....pray that they turn out well. The girls are now quite a handful...with Eva walking and into things. We went to the library and by the time I left today I was exhausted...lost Eva for awhile amonst the many rows of books, shes quick. Then since it was another rainy, miserable day we read our library books and painted our nails today. Even Eva let me paint her fingernails...anything Ella does she does. So they both did a great job! Well we wish everyone a Happy Easter and safe travels.

My little gardeners

The girls playing in the garden...well its not a garden yet but they will be fully informed to stay out of it when it is. We'll see if that works! They sure enjoy it.

The girls laying in their sleeping bags.

Eva sitting up in her sleepingbag

Ella crawlin into the fort.

Eva goin into the fort.

Well we had a lazy week and that was because I was sick all week. Thought I had the flu but turns out it was some pills I started taking. I'm obviously allergic to them because yesterday I tried to take another one after being off of them for a week and I had a reaction. So no more pills for me! It was pretty rainy also last week so we built forts and made our own fun indoors. I'm trying to transition Eva to only 1 nap which means I have to keep her pretty busy in the morning because shes usually ready for a nap around 12 but Ella isn't ready until closer to 1. But the last couple days have been good, both nap together. Eva is also getting 2 more teeth on the bottom and she has another little cold. So stuffy and hard to sleep. Ella is excited for her birthday party and thinks everything she sees she will be getting for her birthday. The girls love playing outside..its hard to come back in. Thank God we have a backyard now where I can just let them run. Well the sun is shining today and its beautiful out so we are headed to get some ice cream. Hope the sun is shining in your area.

The girls actually sat on the Easter bunny last week at the pet Expo and they both liked him. Success!

We had another busy weekend, we went to Cincinnati to the zoo and than a Reds baseball game on Sunday. We had so much fun! The weather was perfect, well on Sunday for the game it was about 75 and sunny and I didn't even think to bring sunscreen. It wasn't supposed to be that nice, well we bought Ella a hat to protect her face and Evan got a little burnt but we survived. Eva and I were out in the shade because I was rocking her a lot of the time so she would fall asleep, it worked and she slept about 4 innings. The girls were so good although I feel guilty because I just kept shoving junk in their face. We had lots of candy, juice, and popcorn, whatever would keep them sitting happily. We also left a little early because the Reds were kicking butt. On Saturday we left for the zoo and it was a bit colder but we bundled up and had a great time, from there we went to eat and to the hotel for some swimming. Ella is really starting to like the pool. Eva not so much! Then on Friday we met some moms at the Firefly cafe downtown for some indoor fun. We hadn't done anything else all week except for the libary so we were excited to get out. I just knew we would be running again on the weekend so layed low during the week. The girls had a great time the entire weekend and so did we. But we are happy to say we will be at home for the next 7 weeks, until we make a trip home to ND. We are all tired of running thats for sure. I'm sorry to hear that ND got more snow, that sucks! :o) But I love you all.
