Tis not the season for colds. :o(

Ella with daddy's baseball glove.

Ella is naked because she had just had an icy pop and they are way to messy. Eva also really enjoys them. They were blowing bubbles in the pic.

Evan was watching the girls. ESPN was on so Eva was just lounging.

Ella decided she would sit in her baby stroller and than asked for a push. I am surprised she didn't break it.

Ella and Kayla. I watched a friends little girl and boy while she had an appt. Ella enjoyed their company.

So we started the week off great but by Tuesday Ella was had a stuffy, runny, nose with a low grade temp. and I knew it was just a matter of time before Eva got it. Especially now with Ella always in her face. She has gotten worse lately because half the time Eva giggles at her so she keeps doing it. I acutally worked 3 different times last week so that was nice. It got me out of the house and away from the girls. Ella has been having a hard time taking naps although she desperately needs them especially cause she was sick. So she was driving me insane and Eva, I think, is teething. She seems more fussy throughout the day and talks and babbles very loudly, kind of annoying. Eva is moving more but I think she will be walking before she crawls because she hates being on her tummy. I can't believe she is almost 8 months alreay, where as the time gone. Evan and I have still been job searching, no luck yet, but we're hoping soon. I had an interview yesterday which I thought went well but haven't heard anything today. It's for an overnight position 2 days a week. It's challenging for me only because of the hours but its the only thing that works well with our family right now.

Please keep the Dunnigan family in your thoughts and prayers this week because they lost a memorable, loving, fun, man on Sunday July 25th. Rest in Peace Chuck!

Camping

Ella and I riding on a banana at the ice cream store.

Ella and her trike. She is getting better at riding it. She still struggles to get going.

Ella and the firetruck.

Ella was trying to jump over this stick that spun, she tried very hard but was just a little too slow. Pretty funny to watch.

Ella playing at the trike-a-thon. There were little stations they could stop at and this one was a water one. She liked it!

Uncle David and Ella. Looks like they're walking on water. It was shallow even far out.

Us in Lake Erie.

Real sand so soft and fluffy when it wasn't wet. I thought this would be a cute one to frame.

Naked baby in public.

Roasting a marshmallow for smores.

Eva and I on the Ferry!

Ella is sure a copycatter, since Uncle David was checkin out the boats so was she. He didn't even know she was there.

Since the island was 4 miles long we had to take a taxi downtown so we didn't get a chance to swim in the lake again so we stopped by some fountains to cool off. Ella loved them.

Ella's an oompa loompa. We stopped at a chocolate store and looked around and had some ice cream.

I thought it was cool the sign said Crystal Cave, we actually also stayed in Crystal Rock campgrounds.

Ella was petting and feeding the deer. Not sure what kind they were because they were big but still had spots like fawns. Interesting, they were pretty tame.

Well we had a great week and even a better weekend. We had some playdates and went to the Graeter's Ice Cream store to play indoors one day due to rainy weather. We got to see ice cream being made and enjoy some of it too. We also had Ella's trike-a-thon on Saturday morning. It was a moms fundraiser to raise money for the Ronald McDonald house here in Columbus. It was a lot of fun and we raised $550 so it was a good turnout. We didn't plan on doing anything on the weekend but Evan's aunt Becky and Uncle David were camping 2 hours away from us and wondered if we wanted to come and visit. We did and had a wonderful time, we went swimming in Lake Erie and took a Ferry boat to Put-In Bay Island. It was like we were on some tropical island, for 1 it was freakin hot and 2 it was so full of tourist attractions. The only way to get to the Island was take the Ferry so many people just lived there during the summer because in the winter the Lake freezes over and they are stuck on the island. Of course, there are grocery stores and stuff so it wouldn't be that bad, probably like Cando, ND. :o) Thanks Uncle David and Aunt Becky we had a great time and got in some camping for the summer.

Eva in her bouncy seat, she likes it but not as much as Ella does.

Ella flying with daddy.

Let's play ball!

Ella and Madi

Well sorry a little late it's been a busy week. Evan and I have been applying for jobs left and right. I have been waiting until we move but obviously its taking a little longer than we thought so I have applied at Childrens for a home health position, pretty much what I do now just more work. I would still be able to schedule my own hours so it should work out wonderfully with the girls and Evan. Evan has started to look outside the government in Minn. with help from some close friends. So pray that we find something so we can soon be closer to home. We also started looking at houses just in case we stay here we will know what we're looking for so we can move when our lease is up. So many decisions!! Otherwise the girls have been great well except for at night. Ella has been waking up for whatever reason and has a hard time getting back to sleep so I am usually up for awhile with her and than Eva usually wakes 1-2 times so some nights I feel I don't sleep at all. Eva seems like she is teething also biting and drouling but we thought Ella was teething for a whole year so who knows. It has still been really hot here so we try to pick indoor activites or ones involving water. We went to the library for storytime one day, a moms house for sprinkler fun, and a couple playdates with Ella's friends. We stayed pretty busy during the week but the weekend was relaxing. I had CPR classes most of the day on Saturday and Sunday we just looked at a few homes. Wish us luck!

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July

Ella and Eva on the 4th of July.

Eva in the highchair. Ella now sits with us at the big table and everyone is happy with the change.

Well we caught up with everyone this week since we have missed them from being gone on vacation. On Monday we watched Sammy who is 5 months younger than Ella. They get along great and look forward to playing with each other each week. They belong to our playgroup that takes place each Friday.

Eva and Sammy. Sammy loved playing with Eva although he wasn't as gentle with her as her sister is.

Ella and Sammy!

Tuesday we met some moms for lunch and than went to Cinncinati for a Reds baseball game. Evan has always wanted to go to a night game so we did. It was a little cooler but the girls were tired and kind of a mess. It was a good experience but hopefully not one that comes again anytime soon. It was a lot of work and we didn't really get to watch the game.

Ella hangin out before the big Reds game.

Wednesday Erin and Aiden came over to play and the kids had so much fun together. Erin is expecting another little boy in Oct. so our little playgroup is growing. Yay!

Ella and Aiden

Eva's 1st biscuit, she is always sucking and chewing on her fingers so I thought she would like one. She had troubles holding it herself so Erin helped her than she was happy.

Thursday Jenna came over and we had a pool day. She went in with Ella so I didn't have too, what a great friend.

Eva happy and ready to go swimming.

Friday we met Andrea and the kids at the park and than had lunch with them. Ella loves playing with them too. Evan got off early from work so was home by the time we got home. We relaxed in the evening as we did pretty much all weekend. It has been so hot here that we can't even do anything outside unless your in the pool and its too cold for Eva so that doesn't work too well for our family. We did go both Sat. and Sunday in the morning before it got to packed or too hot. We enjoyed a firework show on Sat. night at the park through the trees. We just walked which was great because traffic looked crazy! The show started at 8:45 and the girls were so tired. Eva fell asleep and Ella was rolling around like a crazy girl.

Ella took this picture of us. She has a current love for pictures, she likes to take them, be in them, and look at them. I was proud of her, it turned out quite well.

Evan and the girls in the park.

The girls waiting for the fireworks in the park.

This week has been rough for us, neither one of the girls are sleeping very well so the nights are very long. Let's hope that ends soon. Ella is still completely in love with her sister and loves to help her when she is in need. She always picks her back up when she tumbles over and gives her a toy when she cries. I'm glad they have each other. Hopefully they will always be close!

Eva is in awe with Madi, She loves her kisses!

Ella is changing her baby. She pooped!

Ella was making Eva giggle so I caught an action shot.
