Happy New Year

Baby Tyler and Ella on Sunday morning after they gave each other hugs/kisses.

The last night before we left (Saturday night). We met them in Fargo because they had been stranded since Wednesday.

A turkey outside of the Vondals house.

The girls again watching Dora.

Ella at Uncle Grants ball game. Go Bearcats!

Ella, Eva, and Savy wathcin Dora I suppose.

The drift in front of the Vondal house.

We went bowling one night and Ella loved it. It was her first time and she did great, with bumpers of course and the help of Auntie Alana and Uncle Jon.

Evan and Jon shoveling off the roof.

Ella crawling through a tunnel CJ and Savy made.

Winter wonderland.

Ella and her new fake puppy.

Ella and Eva had matching pj's which had their names on them. They were so cute!

Eva on Christmas morning.

Ella writing Santa a letter!

Baby Tyler got underwear for Christmas and took his pants off right away and put them on. If only it were that easy. Good luck Nellie! He was so super cute though, he loved them!

Eva, daddy, and Grandpa Christmas Eve night.

Tyler and Ella locked in Gage's (Uncle Brett's dog) kennel. (Another highlight for Ella.)

Eva's favorite gift from Uncle Brett and Aunt Ashley. It's a Dora doll.

Great Grandma Vondal and Great Grandma Charb. We were happy to have both of them on Chrismas Eve. Eva liked them!

Ella and daddy on Christmas Eve.

Grandpa Jim and Eva. Eva was such a good sport about new people, she has only seen my dad 1 other time and went to him without fussing. I was so proud of her. I think it helps to be so involved in the moms club/library activities.

Baby Tyler and Ella playing with the treadmill.

Me and the girls Christmas Eve.

Ella and her cousin Savy, She loved her and followed her around everywhere.

Auntie Alana and Eva probably watching Dora.

The girls got some early Christmas presents, the one being a book for Ella and Eva recorded from G&G. It is perfect, every night we can now hear G&G voice before bed.

Ella howling like a timberwolf. On the way home we stopped in Minneapolis for a day and went out with some old college friends and went to a T-wolves game. The girls, unfortunately didn't last the entire game. Alana and I brought them home early which left the boys having fun.

We had a great time at home which ended up being 2 days longer because of the blizzard conditions in ND. It was nice to stay those extra days but it was awful driving home in 2 long days. We were hoping to take it slowly on the way home stopping frequently to see new things and visit some friends. Well maybe next time! We stayed at the Lindahls for the first 5 days and than at my parents house for the remainder of the time. It couldn't have worked out better! The girls slept well, probably not enough but they slept all night every night so I was thankful for that. I think the highlight for me was going out with some old high school friends, I had so much fun. It was great to see them and catch up. The highlight for Ella was baby Tyler and her cousin CJ & Savy. She also LOVED Auntie Hopie because she was goofy with her. Ella loved to tease her, she would tell her NO tisses for auntie Hopie but would ask for her when she wasnt around. The highlight for Eva I think was all the attention especially from her grandmas and grandpas. They love her sooooo much. Evan's favorite part of the trip was probably shoveling, haha! I shoveled more than he's ever shoveled. The closer we got to Ohio the happier we were to see grass and NO snow, although with us wanted to move closer to home we are going to have to sacrafice the cold weather and the snow. That's alright I guess as long as we have family/friends close by. So again Evan's highlight was seriously the T-wolves game or Grants BB game. We were fortunate enought to seen his little brother Grant play a high school game. He is a senior this year and they have a very good team, they are hoping to make it to state. I didn't get a lot of pictures with my family, my camera was never out but I grabbed moms everytime I saw a kodak moment. :o) So overall we had a wonderful time with family/friends and hope to have next Christmas here in Ohio in our new house(without snow/blizzards).
Please pray for Grandma Mary as she will be having heart surgery on Jan. 10th. Evan will be traveling home via plane or car, unsure yet what is happening. We love you grandma and will be thinking and praying for you.

Merry Christmas

I've been crazy busy all day getting us packed and ready to leave tomorrow for ND. Evan works from 7-11 and than we're out of here. Hopefully the weather subsides by tomorrow, its snowing today in Minneapolis, and Wisconsin. It's very challenging to pack for 3 girls but I love it. :o) This week was spent having our last playdates before we leave for 2 weeks. We even went to see my friend Andrea with the 3 kids who now lives 1 hour and 10 min. away. The girls were ok but didn't nap so I hope they will on the way home. I have lots of activities planned for them so it should hopefully be enough to keep them quiet and entertained. We had our little Christmas on Saturday night. We have to bring enough gifts home with us so we didn't want to bring some that we would just have to bring back again. So the Ella got a puppy shirt with a puppy book and necklace, an easal, and . Eva got a new potty, and some little barnyard animals, which was a hit of the night. She also got some new boots and together they got a game. They were very happy with everything they got. So I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and safe traveling. I probably won't right until we get home on Jan 3rd.

Her and I were playing, She likes when I get her!

Eva's new potty! We have just recently been introducing it to her and she pees and poops on it. So hopefully it won't be too much longer and she'll be trained. She peed right away on her new potty! So proud of her!

Ella without any pants again!

NEWS!

Eva's just chillin and watchin Dora!

Ella's got her huge "purse" and she's going bye bye to go shopping. :o)

Webcam time, we were talking to G&G Lindahl on the webcam as we do every weekend.

Eva and Evan relaxing!

NO I am NOT pregnant! We are excited to share that we finally got a house, although we are just renting it because we really would like to move home. But its exactly what we were looking for and will make us so happy for upcoming years here in Columbus. We are acutally renting from friends so we are very fortunate to have a low monthly payment and items left behind; washer/dryer, lawnmower, some small furniture. We are so thankful this has finally happened! We have also decided we can finally let Madi go, as does Ella. So we are giving her to a wonderful family not far from us so we can go and visit anytime, they also have a little boy Ella had a great time with. So we can go over for playdates and play with Madi too, just perfect.

Madi's last pic! She will soon be in a new home. :o(

Although, we did tell Ella we could get her some fish or turtles so not sure if I'll regret that buts its got to be easier than a dog. So we have started packing for ND, we leave next Tues. so are all very excited about that. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Eva's 1 yr. appt.

A few of Eva's 1st pictures, we are taking a few more tomorrow so lets hope she cooperates.

At the Christmas party, Eva's having a great time while Ella is crying.

Eva loungin watching Dora. She won't move until Dora is over, amazing! And she knows how to get off the couch, something Ella never mastered until she was alot older.

Ella's pushing Eva on her little car, they both love it! Look at Eva's long hair, she won't keep anything in it so its always in her face! I refuse to cut it though!

Ella layin on Eva, so precious!

Havin a great time eating her cupcake.

Eva on her birthday enjoying a cupcake, she was much happier and enjoyed it alot more than at her party.

Sorry I waited till today but Eva's 1st appt. was today and I wanted to let everyone know how big she's gotten. Well her growth is slowing down she is now an average baby. Her length is in the 80th percentile- 30 1/4 in. and is 21 lbs 12oz. Ella was 24 lbs and 31 1/2 in, so very similar! She also got her shots which are the worst at age 1, there were 3 and they all sting! I also had concerns about her teeth, her bottom two are still working there way out but I have noticed they aren't as white as Ella's and it's because the Dr. presribed her some vitamin supp. with flouride that she should have stopped when I stopped breastfeeding. Well I wasn't told so she was getting flouride in the tap water with her bottle and flouride in the vitamin supplements. I am really frustrated with this because it was completely preventable. Although, the dr. noted it should effect her big teeth. So anyways it may not be as bad as I think because like I said her teeth are not even all the way out yet, I'm just a paranoid mom. :o)

We had a great time at the holiday party, although Ella was a mess for the first 45 minutes. She just kept crying and saying she wanted to go home. I think we rushed her when we got up from her nap, so she was crabby! She eventually settled down and as you can see sat on Santa without crying. I was really impressed, and Eva could care less.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVA

'
Eva was finally happy

Eva didn't demolish her cake and most of what was missing was on the floor or in Ella's belly.

Ella eating her cupcake!

The cupcakes I made; cows, pigs, and chicks!

This was before dinner, I think Eva would have otherwise liked the attention.

Everyone else was having fun, poor baby!

That's how much she liked her party hat! :o)

This ones for you Papa Jim, she's ms. fix-it these days! Probably because I have been also these days, thanks to my darling children.

Ella playing in Target. This was after we went downtown to see Santa, for some reason Ella didn't want to go home yet she wanted to go play in the store with all the toys, so thats what we did. She and her daddy had a great time.

Ella giving the bee a high five. She just starred at all the mascots, she loved them.

What a perfect pic, huh! Of course Eva could be looking at the camera but that would be just too perfect.

So Grandma Mary requested pictures of Eva's party so I knew she couldn't wait till Monday so I'm posting them today. We had her party Thurs. evening because I work on the day of her birthday. She was kind of crabby right away, I think she was just really hungry so after dinner/cake smashing she was happier and enjoyed the company of all her friends. Since she was crabby she didn't really dig into her cake as we thought she would. She made a huge mess and ate a little but I think Ella enjoyed it a little more than she did. Of course, she had to help her eat it. Ella has a cold so I hope we didn't spread it to everyone that was here last night, especially little baby Eli- who is almost 7 weeks old. I will feel terrible! We didn't have too many people over because our place is so small but only our very close playmates. The other pictures are of when we went to see Santa at the State house. He was supposed to fly in on a helicopter but arrived in an ambulance so not cool, especially because it was freezing out and we were all waiting outside for him. But Ella enjoyed all the mascots once we got inside the statehouse. This weekend we have the moms Christmas party so there will be more pics in the beginning of next week. So I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend. Stay warm!
